The work in detail
Acreage and rural property clearing
Overgrown blocks, regrowth paddocks and scrub brought back under control. This is the work we came north for: real acreage, real machinery, and a finished result you can actually use, not a half-cleared mess.
Block and new-build site clearing
Building blocks cleared, grubbed and levelled ready for construction. Trees out, stumps ground or grubbed, vegetation removed and the site left ready for the pad. Because the same crew does the excavation, clearing and site prep run as one continuous job.
Fence line and boundary clearing
Fence lines opened up so fencing contractors can actually build, and boundaries cleared and kept clear. On bigger properties we form up access along the line as we go, so the next job is easier than the first.
Access tracks
Tracks cut and formed through timbered and steep country: to the back paddock, the dam, the shed site or the water. Done with drainage in mind so they last longer than the first wet season.
Scrub, undergrowth and regrowth
Lantana, regrowth and undergrowth cleared from paddocks and around structures. Keeping cleared country cleared is easier than clearing it twice; we can set a return cycle for properties that need it.
Cleared material, dealt with
Clearing makes a lot of material. We section usable timber, and load and cart the rest with our own tippers. The job is not finished until the site is clean.
Clearing country from the Hastings to the Orara
From lifestyle acreage around Wauchope and King Creek to grazing country up the Macleay and the steep hinterland behind Coffs Harbour, most of our clearing work is rural. The common thread is machinery: this country beats hand crews and hired mini gear, and it is why owning excavators, tippers and the tree equipment matters.

Straight answers
How much does it cost to clear land in NSW?
The honest answer is that it varies enormously with vegetation density, tree size, terrain, access and what happens to the cleared material. A lightly treed block and a steep, heavily timbered one are different jobs entirely. We inspect the block, talk through what you want the land to do, and quote a firm price. Quotes are free.
Do I need approval to clear my land?
Sometimes. NSW native vegetation rules depend on your zoning, the vegetation type and your local council, and some clearing needs approval while other work is permitted. If your property is near bush fire prone land, the 10/50 vegetation clearing scheme may also apply; the NSW RFS website has a tool to check your address. We are careful to stay on the right side of these rules and will flag anything that needs checking before work starts.
How long does clearing take?
With the right machinery, a lot less time than people expect. Small blocks are often a day or two; larger acreage jobs run longer, and we give you a duration alongside the quote so you know what the property will look like and when.
What happens to the trees and scrub you clear?
It depends what you want. Usable timber can be sectioned and left, smaller material chipped, and the rest loaded into our tippers and carted for disposal or recycling. Nothing gets pushed into a heap in the corner and forgotten unless that is genuinely what you ask for.
Can you clear a site and then prepare it for building?
Yes, and it is the most efficient way to do it. The same crew clears the block, grinds the stumps, cuts the pad and sorts drainage and access. One contractor from overgrown block to build-ready site.
