The southern end of our coast run, and the boundary where the network changes: Newcastle, the lower Hunter and Port Stephens.
Newcastle and the lower Hunter are the southern end of our patch, from the city and its suburbs through Maitland way, and out to Port Stephens: Medowie, Raymond Terrace, Karuah and the peninsula. It is the busiest end of the coast, and the jobs range from urban tree and rubbish work to acreage clearing behind Medowie and rural properties up the arms of the Hunter.
The key detail for electrical work: this end of the run sits on the Ausgrid network, not Essential Energy. Plenty of Level 2 providers hold one accreditation and stop at that boundary. Roysted holds Ausgrid, Essential Energy and Endeavour Energy accreditation, so a builder or owner with jobs both sides of the line deals with one contractor.
Below Newcastle the coast turns into the crowded Sydney-basin market we deliberately moved away from, so the focus here is the city and everything north of it.
