Lakes, headlands and sandy country: the Great Lakes brings coastal jobs with their own rules, and we work them the same way we work everywhere: properly.
Forster-Tuncurry sits between Wallis Lake and the ocean, with Pacific Palms, Smiths Lake and Green Point strung down the lakes to the south and farm country back towards Nabiac and Failford. It is a coastal community with an older housing stock, big established trees and steady building activity.
Common jobs here: coastal banksias and gums that have outgrown their yards, storm clean-ups, older homes due for switchboard and service upgrades, site cuts and retaining on the hilly streets with the views, and rubbish and green waste that needs to leave rather than sit in a skip.
