Steep hinterland, banana country and a growing coastal city: Coffs Harbour is the northern ceiling of our run, and a patch we want more work in.
Coffs Harbour is unlike anywhere else on the coast: a regional city squeezed between the ocean and a steep, wet hinterland, with Sawtell and Toormina to the south, Woolgoolga and the northern beaches up the highway, and the Orara Valley behind. The old banana and blueberry country on the slopes makes for tricky blocks: steep, overgrown and hard to access, which is exactly the kind of country our machinery is for.
The jobs we are built for here: hillside blocks cleared and retained, driveways and pads cut into slopes, trees taken off steep ground safely, farm work up the Orara, and Level 2 electrical, where Coffs has only a handful of accredited providers. Add rubbish removal off any of those jobs and one call covers the lot.
Coffs Harbour runs on the Essential Energy network. We hold Level 2 ASP accreditation for it, along with Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy, so the whole coast between here and Newcastle is covered by one contractor.
