Kempsey and the Macleay Valley

Floodplain farms, river country and coastal villages: the Macleay is proper rural NSW, and it suits the way we work.

The Macleay Valley runs from the beaches at South West Rocks and Crescent Head through Kempsey and up the river into serious grazing country. It is a working valley: beef, dairy and cropping on the flats, lifestyle blocks in the hills, and towns that expect a contractor to turn up when they say they will.

Flood country makes its own work. Drainage that keeps paddocks usable, dams and water management, fence lines to re-clear, flood debris and storm damage to remove, and the steady rural jobs: pole replacements on long private lines, driveways that wash out, blocks to clear. We bring our own machinery to all of it, which matters in a valley where hire gear is a long way away.

Kempsey and the Macleay sit on the Essential Energy network. Our Level 2 ASP accreditation covers it, so electrical network work up the valley is done by the same crew that does the earthworks.

Network note: this area is on the Essential Energy network. Roysted holds Level 2 ASP accreditation for Essential Energy, alongside the other two NSW networks.
